Cart empties when limit is hit

I believe this is coming about from the fact that Limit Orders adds “__return_false” to the queue for the “woocommerce_is_purchasable” filter.

We do this in order to prevent customers from being able to add items to the cart while ordering is disabled, but that does mean that WooCommerce is going to try to clean the cart up as it loads the cart from the session ??

I’ve opened a ticket on the GitHub repo to evaluate whether or not the default behavior should change within the plugin, but in the meantime I’ve put together this snippet that should prevent WooCommerce from emptying the cart once the limit has been reached.

– The ability for users to still add to their cart when the order limit is hit
– The ability to customize what time the order limit “resets”

I can save you some money here:

1. In order to let items still be added to the cart, the trick is to not re-add the “woocommerce_is_purchasable” filter at the end of the snippet above.
2. I already have a snippet out there allowing you to customize the interval reset time
