    Hello Photonic,

Every time I’m making changes to albums on the edit page I see the albums I previously selected only in the first 50 on the list – all albums I selected after the first 50 are not shown as selected when I re-edit.

is there a way to fix this so that all albums that I have selected will save and stay selected?

This problem is very important for me and I need this for my client, so if you could please help me ASAP

    Thank you,
    Shilo

I have to investigate this. It is not a common usage scenario to edit existing shortcodes to add more albums, so it is possible that this has been missed in the implementation.

Thank you for a fast reply! I just got into the WordPress edit page to check it out – unfortunately, the “Read More” button doesn’t seem to work, so I have no way to check.

can you please look into it?

    Thank you,

This works fine for me. What issue are you experiencing?

When I click on the “Load More” button on the edit page to load more albums it just keeps loading forever with no results

Check your JavaScript console to see if you have any errors. You can do so by clicking F12, or Ctrl + Shift + I.

Ok, so the first time I got this error:

jquery.min.js:2 Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: No data returned. Error code 400
    at Function.se.error (jquery.min.js:2)
    at se.tokenize (jquery.min.js:2)

    at S (jquery.min.js:2)
    at Object.success (flow.js?ver=20210209-62251:714)

then – the second time I’ve tried, there is no loading screen (three dots) with this error:

flow.js:689 Uncaught ReferenceError: win is not defined

It is currently impossible for me to monitor individual threads: Houston has a winter storm that has shut down electricity and connectivity for over 30 hours.

Rather than posting on threads to see if something has been fixed, you might want to see if there are new releases and if the change log documents a fix.

This should have been addressed in 2.69.

Thank you for a quick response,

I did notice the new release log for Ver. 2.69 – but as I mentioned earlier a new problem occurs, so now the “Load more” button work only in the first edit – when re-editing, the button simply does not respond,

Can you please look into it?

At this point I cannot look into it – sorry. As I mentioned above, we have a severe weather situation going on in Houston right now, and until my electricity and regular internet connection is restored, this is not something I can work on.

Moreover I am unsure of what you are reporting at this point – there were 2 releases pertaining to what you reported, 2.68 and 2.69. Please confirm that you have 2.69, and if you do, please provide the error trace that you are seeing. Also please provide steps to reproduce (e.g. if you are using blocks or the classic editor etc.).

    Hi,
I am now back online and I started looking into this.

I was not able to replicate your scenario earlier because I assumed you were using the classic editor – this works perfectly there. I then tried this with Gutenberg and only then was I able to reproduce your error.

I will release a patch for this over the weekend, or on Monday at the latest.

Sorry for not getting back to you and thank you very much for a fast reply,
I truly appreciate you for making the effort to solve this problem!

My client will be thrilled to hear the good news!

    Awaiting the new patch.

    Hello Photonic,

And thank you so much for fixing the selected albums for re-edit!!

Would it be possible to show a bigger number of albums like before?

Because I have a lot of albums and I find myself clicking “load more” forever

    Regards,
    Shilo
