Hi, I have been developing a site using Business Directory and it’s worked fine up until now.

All Ajax functions fail to work in every section of this plugin. In the front end, I can’t view past page 1 (over 1000 entries entered into the directory).

I can’t submit a new directory listing (it appears to work at first: the form submits, but then the submitted entry does not appear in the backend).

In the backend, I cannot review, approve or delete any entries/listings.

Most of the time, I Firebug notifies me with the message “Error: sack is not defined” or “Error: jQuery is not defined”

    What’s going on? Thanks

I am not as well advanced in buddypress as it appears that you are but I have a problem when submitting any elements of the form as an error message comes up saying

An ajax error occurred whilst searching, please reload the page and try again.

However the informations does seem to process once the box has been closed down.

Is this rlated to your problem and are you any further on in overcoming it.

    Help!

Unfortunately I have not yet been able to resolve this problem. Also your problem seems different from mine.

The only instance this has happened that I could find (via google) was for a plugin called wp decoratr. However, the issue was resolved on the plugin author’s side and thus never fully explained.

I’ve also tried updating my wordpress installation from 2.8.1 to 2.8.2 but nothing changed.

Has no one else heard of, or have read something similar to this issue?

I dot know if this has anything to do with it but I recently asked my server to upgrade me to php5. It now seams to have solved the problem. Either that or the problem was solved by someone else at the same time.

    Thanks for the input.

Okay, I’ve managed to solve the problem.

The issue was indeed a corrupted WordPress file, or files.

By copying a fresh version of the wp-includes folder and pasting it into my site, I managed to solve the described AJAX (SACK) and jQuery problem mentioned previously. This also fixed an issue where the WYSIWYG editor failed to function or appear properly.

Business Directory now works properly both in the back end and the front end.
