How to implement filter + search?

Hi,
How can I implement the following search within a page, not the sidebar? The user selects a few product attributes and then clicks on “Search” which opens a shop page with the relevant attribute filters.

If I place your filter on a non-shop page and click “Filter” only the url changes with ?filter=xxxx but it doesn’t redirect to a shop page with the filters enforced.
