No. Didnt read where it said to do that.

Do you have some tutorial some place to read the procedure?

It is written on the management screen of the plugin.

1. DB export by original site.
2. Copy wp-content/uploads from original site to new site.
* ftp etc.
3. DB import by new site.

You will need to manually make the copy via ftp or some other method.
This plugin only migrates the database.

Why arent there any plugins that can do this easily? Without the need for ftping?

I tried MANY export plugins to get custom post AND images to new site and none seem to work. Post comes over but no images, have to add back manually. Argh
