Make sure that it’s been expanded into the wp-content/themes directory.

Did Artisteer create the zip file?

yes. I also have the files in my cpanel file manager and these files are extracted

do you want me to send you the zip file. give me an email address

The file structure in the cpanel file manager should be as follows:

    wp-content/themes/you_theme_name/index.php

    Is that what you have?

Huggie, I tried installing it again. This is what I got
    “Unpacking the package.
    Installing the theme.
    Destination folder already exists. /home/genie/public_html/wp-content/themes/Event_Planning_Event_Marketing/
    Theme Install Failed.”
my guess is that it is somewhere in the wp-content/themes.
However, I don’t know how to access it.
    Many thanks Huggie ??

Log in to the WordPress admin section and click “Appearance”. Do you see the theme there, if so then just hit “activate”.

If not, there’s a section below that containing themes with errors if there are any, maybe it’s there.

no such luck through the appearances – themes only thing I see is the default items and F2 settings which is the theme I was using until I got a design through Artisteer.
    thanks

Hi Huggie, If I give you my wp access – could you please go have a look – thanks

    huggie

    (@huggie)

Do you have an index.htm or index.html file in /public_ftp/home/genie/

It maybe overriding the index.php file, because if you go here:
    https://thegenieservices.com/event-plannin/

It appears to be working fine.

I don’t really want to post my email address on here. I’m sure we’ll get to the bottom of it.

By all means add a link to the zip file for download so I can take a look.
