    Hi,

On my catalog page I don’t see any button to select options or add to chart. It was there before but I don’t know why it is gone now.

How can I find what is causing the problem?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi!

    Thanks for reaching out!

Please make sure that “Enable AJAX add to cart buttons on archives” is turned on in WooCommerce > Settings > Products.

    Hee,

thanks for your reply. I have this box checked but anyway no buttons. ??

I tried to deactivate all the plugins, but that also didn’t change anything.

I was trying to delete archive pages by adding some code into my functions.php but that wasn’t what I wanted, so I removed it again. But maybe this caused some problems. No idea…

    Hi there,

Taking a look at the site, I see your products are In Stock, and can be added to the Cart from the Product page — just the buttons aren’t showing on your shop/catalog pages.

This certainly could have affected things, if they had been displaying before. I’d recommend downloading a fresh copy of your theme and re-installing that to see if it makes a difference.

Generally, the display of buttons on the page (along with other design/layout/etc) is controlled by the active theme on your site. Checking your site’s source code, I see you are using a dt-the7 theme. I would recommend reaching out to their support team to ask about why the buttons might not be displaying — it’s possible they have a setting in the theme for controlling that. Their support should be available here:

Ok thanks. I’ll contact the theme and see if they know. I have no idea how to install a fresh theme without losing all my settings. In that case maybe just set back to backups and see where the moment was that the buttons disappear. But yeah…that is also losing some days work I guess.

    Hi there,

I have no idea how to install a fresh theme without losing all my settings.

Generally themes will store their settings in the database so that you can switch back and forth between themes without losing all your settings. That said though, if the theme doesn’t handle that correctly, then it is possible to lose settings/customizations. It’s always best to make sure you have a backup before making changes or doing testing.

Yep, that’s another option! But as you mention, you would lose any changes you made after taking the backup.
