    Hey,

Im using a post widget from Elementor to display posts on an archive page. It shows an excerpt from the full posts text (which is translated). But the excerpt does not get translated even tho the text is translated if we visit the post.

Is this a problem with the Elementor widget or Translatepress?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello there,

I tried to reproduce this problem, but at first I wasn’t able to find the post widget you were talking about.

Then after searching on google, I found out that the post widget you are using is coming from the “Ultimate Addons for Elementor” and since that’s a paid plugin, I wasn’t able to test the problem.

It’s probably a compatibility problem between TP and their grid widget.

Maybe you can ask their support team for help. The free version of TranslatePress has all the functionalities they need to see what the problem is.

I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to come with a proper answer.

    Best regards,
    Cristian

    Hello again,

Before you do that, you might want to try the following:

Go to Settings -> TranslatePress -> Advanced. Then enable these features 1 by 1 in this order and try to see if it makes a difference. Disable them back if it makes no difference. Also please disable or clear the cache if you have any.

    1. Fix spaces between HTML attributes
    2. Fix broken HTML
    3. Fix missing dynamic content
    4. Disable dynamic translation

Maybe one of those will solve the problem.

    Best regards,
    Cristian
