Sorting is not done by local date/time

I have event lists sorted by start date, start time in the events manager settings.
On the site it shows events that start on a Sunday (e.g. in the States) but are on a Monday for me, since I’m in another timezone as being taking place on a Sunday, while the date/time are shown as Monday morning.

It looks like the sorting does not take local date/time in consideration.
