Google Photos – Shows only 5 albums max

    Hello Photonic,

    I have noticed some odd behavior when I choose albums (on the edit page) that after “read more” it only choose a max of 5 albums. but if I choose albums before the “read more” then I am able to choose a big number of albums.

    Can you please check and help me with that? this is very important to me since the whole website based on multiple albums bigger than 5 albums per page

    I am not sure if I understood what you are saying. Are you saying you want to show albums that are not in the first 50?

    If so, you have to do 2 things:

    1. Enable query chaining from Photonic → Settings → Google Photos → Google Photos settings → Chain queries
    2. Pass a count parameter to your shortcode, i.e. set the number of albums to be shown to be 50.

    Thank you very much!! that was exactly my problem – and now it works!

    So I have another question that is relevant to my previous question.

    Every time I’m coming back to the edit page to make changes to albums I see selected albums only in the first 50 – all albums I selected after the first 50 are not shown as selected.

    Can you help me with that?
