Embed Video Into Post

  • OK here is the issue I am having.

    I have two blogs. One is situated on the wordpress site and one I have WordPress loaded onto my own web space.

    On the one that is hosted by WordPress, I am able to add youtube videos and they automatically load up. The file looks like this when placed in the post:

    [youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GX8hGmR00E&feature=player_embedded]

    When I go to the preview post….I can see see the video. already embedded.

    On the worpress blog that I host on my own web space, when I add the URL, and go look at the preview post…i see a link that people need to click on to get the video to appear. That is version 2.9.2.

    Is there some way to have that version embed the video so it appears and NOT the link to it?

  • I didn’t know that WP supports [youtube] by default.

    From point of view there is some plugin’s missing.
