Show post content?

  • Hi,
    I was wondering if I could let a shortcode gather the post_content for certain postID?
    Also, where is the shortcoder content stored? Does it use a custom field for this or just as normal post_content?

    Hi @wzshop,

    Sorry for the late reply.

    Shortcoder uses “custom post types” to create and manage the shortcodes. So all use all WordPress functions here just that you select post type as “shortcoder”.

    In DB, they are stored in “wp_posts” table with post type as “shortcoder”.
