Conflict with other lightbox-running plugins

    I love your plugin and am especially excited to see the newer carousel gallery options, but I’ve had a plugin conflict post-1.2.2 with another lightbox-based gallery system (Sunshine Photo Cart). When Simply Gallery Block is enabled, it kills Sunshine from being able to open photos in a lightbox (it simply hangs on the loader icon – example: https://www.annagorin.com/blog/client-galleries/gallery/example-gallery/).

    I contacted the developer of Sunshine Photo Cart, whose answer was “Unfortunately, this is the other plugin’s issue. They are attaching their lightbox action to all images with a link. You would need to contact the developer of that plugin to not have their code attach itself to everything.”

    Any fix for this? My previous fix was rolling back to Simply 1.2.2, the last version of the plugin that didn’t seem to interfere with Sunshine, but obviously it’s not secure running such an old version, and it’s not even publicly available as a rollback option anymore (plus, I love the new carousel feature). Any advice would be appreciated!

    Go to WP Dashboard -> SimpLy Gallery -> Lightbox Settings -> deactivate Lightbox

    I got it to work! For what it’s worth, simply setting the global Lightbox setting to Deactivate doesn’t work because once I set it to Deactivate, the Save Changes button disappears entirely and I can’t save my setting. However, if I switch off both Use lightbox for Native WP Gallery and Use lightbox for Native WP Image, I still have access to the Save Changes button and was able to save my preferences. Seems like the Save Changes button shouldn’t be hidden as soon as you click Deactivate though, hopefully that’s a bug that can be fixed in a future update. Thanks for your help!
