Wp Dashboard issue. bad eyesight, change white

Hi,
Not sure where this topic goes.
Anyway, The White background on the Wp dashboard is much to blinding as I have eyesight problems.

I did download; WP markdown editor From WPpool
BUT~ whilst it seems to do the trick UNLESS everything viewers see has been specifically written in hard white…. it just fades into the background.

I have also installed the chrome dark mode extension, which in the main works nigh on everywhere BUT~ the Wp dashboard.

Help Please.
