wanted to change from one domain to other and now none of them work

want to describe in detail what won’t work?

Ok, I had my blog in my server under domain “old”

I bought domain “new”

I pointed it towards the DNS of my server

then I add “new” in my server as add-on

then, i went to myphp and changed the DB options: URL and home

Lastly i deleted the folder wp-content-cache

….did i forget something?

My server says my main domain is “old” and new is adn add-on, but both come up as error

I used the link you sent the other guy…what a coincidence pretty much the sam question at the same time

there is nothing wrong with the info in that link – it’s tested and always works if done correctly
has the dns propagated yet?

yes because the server wouldn’t take the domain yesterday but it did today.

In that page (the link) I did the point 4, understanding they all are either or options….is that the case?

yes they are either/or
#4 is the one I always use
you made a mistake somewhere along the line – you changed both url’s in the database, correct?

Ummmm. you mean, in options, I changed Site URL and Home….

Is that what you mean?
