Today’s Events/Upcoming Events Widgets Not always Updating

  • Hello,
    I am using My Calendar version 3.2.13. The Today’s Events and Upcoming Events Widgets have not been updating daily on the About (home page) without refreshing the cache on WordPress. They do refresh on most of the other pages but once in a while they have not updated on three of the other pages (intermittent). I think this is a caching problem with my hosting site but before I switch to a shared hosting service I thought I would check to see if you’ve seen this problem for any other reason.
    I’ve searched the forums but don’t see anything related to this issue.

    My Calendar doesn’t have any internal caching, so I’d say you’re right that it’s an issue with your caching. Is the caching coming from your hosting, and not from a WordPress plug-in? If it’s a plug-in that My Calendar isn’t already aware of, I may be able to support it; if it’s something within your hosting, however, probably not.

    Thank you for your reply. Yes, the caching is coming from the hosting service and not a plug-in. I appreciate your time in this matter.
