    Hello! Sorry… me again!

We were having an issue with the download emails being sent straight to the spam section of people’s mailboxes. We have managed to improve our spam score using mail tester (https://www.mail-tester.com/test-lyl476amv). There are still a couple of things though I can’t seem to solve in the Download after email message settings.

    For example:
    HTML_MIME_NO_HTML_TAG
HTML-only message, but there is no HTML tag
Your message should contain an <html> tag

-When I add HTML and body tags to the email on the ‘text’ view in WordPress, as soon as I save the changes they immediately disappear. Is this a common issue?

    Also:
    MIME_HTML_ONLY
Message only has text/html MIME parts
You should also include a text version of your message (text/plain)

-Is there a way I can include a plain text version as well as the HTML version?

    Many thanks
    Mark

    Hi Mark,

Not all HTML code is possible, because some HTML tags are stripped (sanitized) during the saving of the email content. There is a filter available to change / create the complete HTML content of the email.

In the coming update we will improve the default HTML code of the email and make sure that a plain text version is added automatically. Thank you for letting us know.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

    Kind regards,
    Team Download After Email
