    Hello, forum,
I need a specific user role to be activated by an administrator. When an admin approves the user, oddly user needs to re-specific his account (literally to reset his password) password. Is that a bug? Because when a user is making a request to get registered, he is filling the password field, so this password should be his password and not reset him.

Any ideas? Any options on that?

    Best Regards,
    Elias

    Hi @eliac7

    Sorry for the late response.

Which Email does a user receiving after admin approval? You can check the email template in WP-Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > Email.

    Dear Champ,
    Thank you for your response.

He is receiving the template with the name “Account Approved Email” and the body of that email is https://i.imgur.com/uiDjH4b.png. The thing is that Ultimate Member needs the user to reset his password even though he had typed one on the registration form, so I don’t see the need to reset the password on the email.

P.S.: If I don’t send him the e-mail with the reset password AND reset him, he can’t log in even though I have already approved him.

    Hi @eliac7

    Sorry for the late response.

You can remove the reset password link from the Email template. Please go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > Email > Edit Account Approved Email.
