    Hello there,

so I have already tried to do the whole “Heads up! You’re ready to migrate to a more secure, reliable Facebook for WooCommerce connection. Please click here to reconnect!” a few months ago. However it was not working and facebook could not help either.
So now I am trying this once again.

When trying to connect, facebook detects all the relevant pages, pixels, catalogues, business managers, but there is an error that pops up.

“Your business is prohibited from advertising, including pixel creation.”

However this does not make sense, since we are running ads on the moment on that BM. We also contacted facebook, who say that there is nothing wrong with our account.

I also tried removing the plugin and installing it again, however this did also not fix the problem.

Can you please take a look at this?

  • Hi!

    Thanks for reaching out!

To clarify, you’re not getting any connection errors and when you proceed with the connection you’re able to see a connection ID and a pixel, but after you proceed past that you get an error?

Can you please provide a screenshot of that error message?

    Yes.

Also, all the sites, pixel, catalogues, etc. are correctly detected. Just cant proceed.

    Hi @kiquafix2012,

From the screenshot you shared, I see the error message:

Your business is prohibited from advertising including pixel creation

This is something that happens when Facebook has suspended your Facebook Business account. You can normally appeal the decision with Facebook and get your ads up and running again if approved.

But, since “Facebook team confirmed all is good”, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

We will be able to help you further there.

    Thanks!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
