    Hi,

after the latest update the cloning is not working properly. The options table is not migrated. Posts and pages are migrated, but the plugins, themes and settings are not moved to the new site.

Downgrading to 4.1.3 solving the problem, the cloning works again.

Please check the changes! Thank you very much!

Hi @surbma, could you check the debug checkbox while cloning and then send your cloning log to [email protected]? Also, are you hosting on WP Engine?

I just did the test again. Updated the plugin to the latest version and did the cloning with logging turned on.

But now, everything was working, the cloned subsite got all the options and settings.

So I don’t know, what happened, but after I downgraded and upgraded again, it is working again.

Also, are you hosting on WP Engine?

This install is not on WP Engine, it is on Closte.

Hey @surbma – I have the same issue. Not sure how we can go about downgrading safely. Is it just a matter of deleting the plugin and adding the older plugin files in its place?

OK, great, not sure why that might be but glad it self-resolved for you.

On WP Engine, I only asked because I believe a WP Engine specific caching-related update was one of the few things that changed in the last version, so wondered if the issue might be related to that. Sounds like a moot point though ??

    Cheers!

I just used it on a different install and it didn’t work. When I disabled object cache, the cloning went fine. Downgraded to 4.1.3 and it worked well even with object cache enabled.

So definitely the new version has some problem with object caching.

Hey folks – sorry for the issues around object caching there. We just released 4.1.5 with an update (among a few others) that automatically calls the WP core wp_cache_flush() function at the end of every cloning operation and should resolve this for you. (If not, please let us know of course.)

Hey @dptuck sorry about that – we had a mistake in our deployment of the latest version. It’s now resolved so if you uninstall the plugin and reinstall one more time it should be fixed for you.

@dptuck could you please submit a ticket to [email protected] so we can dialog further to resolve your specific issue with the title not being updated?
