Website looks fine in editor but not in live view
-
Hey
I made my first WP website for a client and it’s finished now. Last step: changing URL from the subdomain to the main domain. That didn’t work properly (I guess I should just be able to change the path in the Settings on the Dashboard and change the folder name in the FTP Server, right?). But I got this after some extensive googling and trial & error.
Now the site looks very weird as if there was a problem with the css and the media library. Some of the pictures aren’t shown and the font and colours are all over the place. But in the editor it all looks fine just like I want it to. At least more or less, after the last change from the subdomain to the main domain (did it a couple of times trying to figure out the issue) the global colours changed to default – no big deal. The sizing and font weights are correct.
I did clear my cache, did open it in incognito mode, did delete the advanced-cache.php file, did use a cache plugin to try and reset the WP cache and there I also deleted my revisions (suspecting that my db just got too big). I installed that cache plugin after it began bugging.
I tried it in Chrome and Safari, both newest version.
I don’t know what else I could try, could you help me?
Thanks!
