WordPress.com to .org Importer froze

Hi there! I’m going to a self hosted www.remarpro.com blog and am movign away from wordpress.com because there is not enough control.

I downlaoded the export file and yet, not everything appeared. :[. It froze at item 397 when importing a 100 kb image and didn’t go any further. Nothing recent is up yet!

It only uploaded the first seven days of content when there is obviously much more.

What can I do?

Do I need to delete and start over?

Tell it not to bring in the media library too?
