How to remove comment area on pages?

    How do you remove the comment area on pages. I am using my site for a band page and don’t want to show comment areas like a blog. Any help?

  • One easy way is in your dashboard, go to the ‘Discussion’ box for each page and uncheck the box ‘Allow Comments’

    [1] Open the file “page.php” and “single.php” in your theme directory with a decent text editor.

    [2] Find this tag : <?php comments_template(); ?>

    [3] Delete this tag

    Then, all your “posts” and “pages” wont show the comment area.
