Changing the height of the Hero Section

I need to reduce the height of the Hero Section that contained the Featured Image across all pages. Currently it is 600px, I need it reduced to 500px.

I added the following to Additional CSS in Customiser the theme;

.hero-section {min-height:500px !important;}

But it is being over ridden by the dynamic CSS in

ct-main-styles-inline-css”>[data-header*=”type-1″]

Any ideas please?
