    Hello,

After the recent update I keep getting the following notification :

“Because of a change in your permalink structure, some of your SEO data needs to be reprocessed.”

I did reprocess several times hoping I will get rid of it but now my SEO titles and meta descriptions are not showing properly on Google.

For the record I haven’t changed any permalinks. I am running v15.5 and Google Search Console doesn’t show any page errors.

Please advise how to fix this. Thank you!

      2. Go to Tools -> Yoast Test
      3. Hit the “Reset Indexables & Migrations” button
      4. Under SEO → Tools, click the “Start SEO Data Optimization” button.

Hello & thanks for your fast reply.

I already tried that without success.

    Below are two screenshot:

1 – shows how the metadata is supposed to look

2 – shows the actual result in Google.

    Any other possible solution please?

    Hi,

The Yoast Test Helper is to help re-run the SEO data optimization process.

However, this isn’t directly related to the difference of the SEO title and meta description as what you’ve defined in the Yoast SEO plugin and what is actually outputting in the search results.

There are several reasons as to why this could occur, such as wrong source code, search term manipulation, outdated cache, and Google not selecting your preferred description. You can learn more about it here — https://yoast.com/help/my-meta-descriptions-arent-showing-up-in-the-search-result-pages/
