How to link a payment option (e.g. “Cash on Delivery” to stock-levels

    Hi there,

    How can I link the payment option ‘Cash at Pick-up’ (i.e. Cash at Delivery enabled only for the method ‘Pick-up’) to the stock-level of the ordered product?

    I run a local e-shop, with some of the displayed products not held in stock but only available through backorder (i.e. I need to order it first with my wholesale supplier).

    For these backorder products I do NOT want to offer the ‘cash at pick-up’ option for obvious reason: I need to avoid back-ordering products for customers who select ‘Pick-up” + “Cash at Pick-up” and then do a no-show….

    Honestly, I can’t believe this ability is not readily available, and that a through Internet search did not yield any info, plugins or anything….???

    Any advise?

    Honestly, I can’t believe you are making complaints about free plugin you haven’t spent a dollar on. O_o

    I did not complain about any particular plugin. I wanted to post a general question, and wondered why I can not find any plugin that allows me to link payment methods to inventory levels.

    Maybe I posted this question in the wrong forum – thinking that it was a forum for general questions, not related to a particular plugin (as may have been the case).
