Let customer choose when subscription should start

This plugin allow you to change the first payment date, but there is no option for the user, you have to choose it.

How and where would you allow your user to choose it?

it would be on the the front end. So a user can order a subscription but the start from the subscription needs to be delayed for some reason. A reason can be, he order this subscription as a gift and want that it starts after the birthday etc.

Other example:

A learning company would like to use it to let people sign-up for classes in august. But the classes runs from Oct – Dec. So people should be able to signup earlier.

No, currently this is not possible.

It would be nice to do in a future if we have time to develop.

But this does only provide a date selector. We want to have that customer can choose from admin defined start dates in order that we do not have 100x different start dates.

This is not easy at all.

Yes. But this has nothing to do with the start date. So I guess there is currently no solution for this. ??

You can do different variations and use this plugin feature in every variation.

So first payment means also first order shippment? Cause we ship stuff for every month.

No, this means first payment that is managed by free trial duration.

Please check it and if this is not enough for your needs, tell us your code requeriments, and we can try to include it in a future.

For our case we do not need free trial. We are building subscriptions to send product on a monthly base to customer. But when a customer order a subscription today, they currently the subscription will start from today. And that is actually the problem. We take all the money up-front via sign-up fee and NO recuring costs.

There is also a top votes user voice topic about this. I guess a lot of people need this.

Example:
Requirement 1:
A customer wants to buy a subscription as a gift for someone. Now he should be able to select the startdate from the subscription. So its a delayed start of the subscription but it is already paid.

Requirement 2:
There sould be some option to config the date field. Means, a option for possible startdate, recuring days, one day per month e.g. in the middle of the month, etc.

Why we need this? Becasue when we have 200 subscription with different dates, its for admin not easy to manage. If there is always one possible startdate per month it would be easier. I guess, this would be a huge benefit for a lot of customers regards the votes on the WooCommerce subscription offical user voices.

This is a free software plugin. A little one. We work hours and hours for free in it and what are you asking for is no related with the plugin (first payment date is not the same that what are you asking for).
