Form not working – temporarily (?)

My customer called me today from overseas as he was unable to send me an email via my contact form on my website.
I tested it on my phone – and it was indeed stuck on “processing”. I have not received it.
I have submitted a ticket to your support with the log etc so am awaiting your reply.
But strangely, few hours later I decided to test it again both on my phone and PC – and THIS TIME – it worked!
That’s good news, however my questions remain:
1. what has caused the form to stop working temporarily (don’t know for how long)?
2. how often does it occur? Not everyone can make an international call, so if their email is not getting through – they may give up and not contact me at all.I just saw a post Form Stuck on Processing – which is exactly the same issue I have –

posted 5 weeks ago (!!!) which you have not replied to.Is there a reason for ignoring that post?….. your reply to it would have answered my question.
