    Hi,
    I imported a list of new contacts in Audience.
    After that, I sent a confirmation request using the “resend confirmation” option.
    But I found one of those contacts “unsubscribed” (red dot in Audience list), even if I received a “New email subscription confirmation” on the admin email.
    It’s not clear to me what happened. Has the contact opened the email without clicking on the link?

    Hello,

    Did you send any campaigns(Broadcast, Post notification) to that list after the subscribers have confirmed their subscription? If yes, it can be possible that the subscriber might have unsubscribed at that time. Also, can you add some personal email id with unconfirmed status initially and resend the confirmation email and check if it is working fine or it is replicating similar behavior?

    no, I didn’t send any campaign after having imported the list.
    At the present time I continue to have only that unsubscribed contact, I tested the confirmation sending but there was no unsubscribe option… so not-replicated behavior until now.

    Hello @njnye,

    We do not provide unsubscribe-link in the confirmation email so it is not possible for the subscriber to unsubscribe through that. Yes, but it can be that the Welcome emails are enabled and the unsubscribe link might be included there. You can check Email Subscribers > Settings > Notifications for this. Other than that, it is not possible for the subscribers to unsubscribe by themselves in any other case.
