admin settings not working

I installed wp 5.6, so it is vanilla, oob, no mods, no addons other than wpglobus, the vanilla theme not changed. Installed, added wpglobus, went into settings. Just so that we are clear that no customizations/installations or anything had been done prior to this. As vanilla everything as it can get.

So I end up in the welcome page of WPGlobus 2.6.0 and click on the settings tab. I see a number of links on the left: from Welcome to Uninstall. I click on Languages, nothing happens. I click on Languages Table, nothing happens. Same, all the way down to All Addons that finally does some page loading and shows the list of addons.

What am I doing wrong?
