    Hello,

I generated a report from Analytics, and online i can see the Customer column with their name, In the downloaded csv file the names are missing!

I am need to generate report and sort by name and can’t do it now. it shows ‘returning’ ‘new’ instead of customer name.

    thanks

    /j

    Hi there! ??

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    Before you start

    1. First, please make sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. Most hosting companies have this included in the subscription, but you could also consider using a service like?Jetpack. If something goes wrong, it’s nice to know that you can restore your site.
    2. Second, I would suggest installing a plugin called?Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community and it allows you to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.

Please keep us posted, we will be more than happy to help moving forward. ??

    Hello,

Is the analytics order reports supposed to export the customer names to csv?

Yes, when exporting the order reports from Dashboard > Analytics > Orders > Orders Sections > Download it should generate a .CSV file, with all the fields that appear on that table. Those fields are:

    1. Date
    2. Order #
    3. Status
    4. Customer
    5. Products
    6. Items Sold
    7. Coupon
    8. Net Sales

You can check more information about this by visiting the following link to our documentation:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-analytics/#orders-report

    I hope this helps ??

    Hello,

I see it exports a ‘Customer’ FIELD. I wanted to know if the rows will show their actual names or not on export. Not the field title, but the actual row/cell contents.

    If you go here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-analytics/#orders-report

You can see a screenshot, the Customer column does not contain names, it’s says “N/a” And “Returning.”

On my Setup i SEE the Actual customer names but on export it says Returning / New.

So my question is on EXPORT, Are the cells Supposed to contain the Actual Customer NAMES or is it normal that they contain Returning/New.

Even the official screen shot above does not show names.

You appear to be correct in that the order CSV from the Analytics section only shows the type of customer.
To export full order details I suggest that you consider using:
    https://woocommerce.com/products/ordercustomer-csv-export/
    or similar.
A search for WooCommerce export orders details digs up some interesting alternatives as well.

I hope that helps you to figure it out.
