hard-cropping post thumbnails – working for anybody?

Hi there,

I’m using the new post thumbnails feature and I can’t seem to get it working right with hard-cropping. I’ve added new post thumbnail sizes “add_image_size(‘normal-post-thumbnail’, 500, 300, true);” – but when I set crop to true, it doesn’t actually crop anything. It just box-resizes.

Example: If I set a 500×350 image as the thumbnail, it resizes the image to something like 481×300, instead of cutting off the bottom part to make the image 500×300. Is anyone else having this problem?
