Confusion over the “/” at the end of the URL

    Hi all,

    OK, I know this sounds strange, but I have created a page on my site using the editor, which is here https://www.canariesnews.com/search which works fine, but the editor insists on linking it to this page when it adds the link on the menu bar https://www.canariesnews.com/search/ adding the “/” at the end, which in the editor, I cannot delete… The problem is that the URL with the “/” at the end doesnt display properly, but the one without does and I just cant get my head round it!

    Any ideas?

    Settings – General
    without a trailing slash

    what is your permalink structure?

    Hi, I had created some pages that were in trash that seemed to be confilcting somehow… All resolved now, thank you
