No popup when adding item to cart

    Hello (again) ??

    When I first tested this plugin on my website, there was a popup which was opened when clicking on green “+” button to add an item in the cart.
    In this popup it is possible to modify the quantity and add special instructions (allergy and so on).

    Now this popup is no longer shown and the item is directly added in the cart.

    I noticed that is it the same on your demo website. I’ve seen this popup but no longer there now… https://vikwp.com/demo/vikrestaurants/order-food-online/chinese/

    Thus I thought that I had to clear my browser cache and cookies but still the same. I also tried with another browser in private mode, same issue…

    Hello,

    the popup is shown according to a configuration setting of the plugin. You should open the Configuration page of VikRestaurants, visit the Take-Away section and search for the Use Items Overlay setting, under the “Order” fieldset.

    This setting can assume 3 different states:

    • Always – the popup will be always shown;
    • Only with toppings available – the popup will be shown only in case the product to add requires the selection of a few toppings;
    • Never – the popup will never be shown;

    Here you have just to choose the “Always” option and save the configuration. This should do the trick.
