Hi! I recently updated the plugin to version 4.0.9. The AIO SEO Score 0/100 item appeared in the record editor. I add a title and description to the article, links, save the entry and publish, but still see 0/100. In the Page Analysis for this entry, I also see an indication of No title has been specified. Make sure to write one!, although I registered the title and saved the entry. Please tell me why this does not work in the plugin and how to fix it? Thanks!

    Hey @hobos

Do you see any errors in the browser’s console (F12 > Console) after you save the changes?

    – Arnaud

After the update, nearly all of my pages and posts showed an AIOSEO score of 0/100 (my static Home page and Blog page being obvious exceptions).

I also noticed that in the analysis (of readability etc.) of my pages, they were reported as having no images or links (for example) when they were fairly image or link rich. I did some online reading of Google guidelines and found that the alt attribute is important for image search optimization and the title attribute may also be helpful.

The alt and title attributes can be set when when you add an image to the WP Media Library and in doing so at that stage in the process, I had probably not done the good job that Google expects.

So I went to edit one of the pages with a 0/100 score and looking specifically at the tags. An attribute such as alt=”Bandname Songtitle Promotion” was changed to the format alt=”bandname-songtitle-promotion” and empty alt=”” attributes were given values using the same format.

But here’s the thing … as soon as I began to edit the first alt attribute, the AIOSEO score instantly shot up to a figure in the 70s or 80s.

Likewise, other media should have title attributes using the same format where possible. For example, a linked video should have title=”band-track-video” in the tag and this is useful in improving the AIOSEO score for pages with videos rather than images.

I am sure this is not all there is to it, but a simple edit to a page can instantly improve the AIOSEO score beyond zero and also removes some error reports in the page analysis. You will still get an SEO title length error though and when you look at this it will tell you to add a title first … even though there is already title.

    Hope that might help.

I checked the browser console (F12), but found no errors there. However, I found out experimentally that the problem related to the SEO score of 0/100 occurred on my site due to the fact that the visual editor was disabled in the administrative panel. When I turned on the visual editor again and resave the article, the SEO score immediately changed and became different from 0. Unfortunately, it is not very convenient to re-save every blog post. It’s a pity that the SEO score doesn’t work when the visual editor is disabled. I don’t use it. But in General, the plugin works fine.

    Hey @hobos,

Just to confirm – do you mean that your default editor is the Text tab of the Classic Editor? If so, that’s definitely something we want to look into and fix.

That’s right! I use the classic editor and use the “Text” tab. It is when editing text in this tab that the AIO SEO Score does not work.

    Hey @hobos,

    Thank you for confirming that.

I’ve opened a ticket for it on our end so we can look into this.

Same here. All of my Scores are 0/100. I work with the visual editor from the classic editor.

Hi, I have the same problem. No pictures are visible on my website now and this strange info AIOSEO Score 0/100 is attached to every post.
Could you please help me asap?

    Hey guys,

Could you give us some more info about where you’re seeing this (posts overview/list page, Edit Post page, etc.).

The plugin is supposed to display an N/A score label for any posts that have not been analyzed yet. It sounds like it is incorrectly showing a 0 score in your case. Please rest assured that does not affect your SEO at all. It simply means the plugin hasn’t analyzed the post yet.

I am rocking 0/100 on every page to, regardless of how rich the content is or not. “working as intended” I guess.

Above when you said “The plugin is supposed to display an N/A score label for any posts that have not been analyzed yet. It sounds like it is incorrectly showing a 0 score in your case. Please rest assured that does not affect your SEO at all. It simply means the plugin hasn’t analyzed the post yet.

That conflicts with the notice in the plugin that warns me that my homepage may have a different title and description as a result of the plugin, which upon review, yes it is now changed/incoherent, as opposed to its original text.

(update) as I am looking through all of my pages, I am finding the title of every single page is now different after I updated this plugin.

Same issue. Just updated prior to doing final walk-thru with client and now I need to explain why their SEO score is 0/100 on all pages. Glad it is not affecting SEO, hoping for an updated fix. Thank you.

Same issue here. Every page “AIOSEO Score 0/100” I too use the WordPress post text editor. Also the “Page Analysis” bit of AIOSEO Settings/General at the bottom does not work properly, gives false and incorrect errors. In fact this new AIOSEO upgrade is pretty rubbish.

I want to thank the developers for fixing the errors related to the rating of the post. Now everything works fine, even when editing text on the text tab. Thanks!
