JS error causing conflicts with other plugins

When PublishPress Checklists is activated, the following JS error appears on every backend page: Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: #pp-checklists-post-type-filter a[href=#post]

This causes the JS for other plugins to not load properly. One example of this is the Quiz And Survey Master plugin. When PublishPress Checklists is activated, new quizzes cannot be created. Turning PPC off resolved the problem.
