no “Schedule” option appearing in publish dropdown

for some reason there’s no “Schedule” option in my Publish post dropdown. the only options are: Published, Pending Review and Draft.

i read elsewhere that sometimes an error in a plugin may cause this. so at this point i have deactivated every single plugin, yet “Schedule” is still not an option.

please advise what i need to do to have “schedule” appear? thanks.
