Can’t access Admin

    Hi,
    I did something dumb trying to change the URL from the General settings menu and now I can’t access /wp-login.php

    I have an existing (HTML) site that I’ve installed WordPress in (same root directory) and have been testing it out and tried to get the existing URL williambowles.info to go to williambowles.info/wordpress/ using the option:

    WordPress address (williambowles.info/wordpress)
    Blog address (williambowles.info) Enter the address here if you want your blog homepage to be different from the directory you installed WordPress.

    didn’t work so I made them both williambowles.info/wordpress

    Dumb I know but know, I tried resetting once but it didn’t work then I couldn’t get back in.

    How do I fix it please.

    Hi Chris,
    Very useful info even if adding the code to wp-config.php didn’t work.

    I get to the login page, enter name and pw and it just cycles back to the login prompt, no error msg. Tried changing the pw as well. I think try the php.admin approach now.

    Okay, the 2nd option worked, altering the functions.php file but should I delete the code from wp-config.php now (I’ve deleted it from the functions.php)?
