Manually assign anonymous comments to a registered user

  • Hi,

    I imported thousands of posts and comments from another publishing system to a crisp new WordPress install. It went quite well, except… Now the comments are not associated with the registered authors anymore.

    I found an old post about adding this functionality on trac, but I believe this has not been added.

    Is there a way I can hack this into the database? Can somebody point me in the right direction?
