    We have campaign not send, statys in queue for several days.

    I check Site Health, this is the warning I got: “A scheduled event is late”

    The scheduled event, action_scheduler_run_queue, is late to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.

    Does this affect the campaign?

    Hi @jrgalia,

    I am really sorry to hear that you are facing with sending of campaigns.

    In the latest version of the Email Subscribers plugin, emails are queued using the background process. This process sends request back to your site. For this purpose, it needs loopback request to be enabled on your site. Can you please let us know if there are any errors/warnings related to loopback or CURL requests in the Site Health report? You can contact your hosting provider in case if you are getting any error or warning related to them.

    Also can you please check if there aren’t any pending task scheduled by the background process from Tools –> Scheduled Actions? You can find them by searching with ‘ig_es_add_subscribers_to_sending_queue‘ on the page. If there are pending tasks, then the issue might be with the background process itself. We will need to debug it further to find the exact cause of the issue. Please contact us from here. We will look into it.

    We have released a new version of the Email Subscribers plugin which addresses this issue by removing the need for loopback requests to queue large emails.
