When I make an article with a survey, when finishing or pausing the survey, the results are not displayed. In the article it says survey finished and the question is shown, not the results. I would like that at the end of the survey the results put in the article remain. Have I done something wrong or is the plugin already like this?

    Hi @goyu73

    I hope you’re well today!

There are three ways to show results of a poll in Forminator: as a link below the poll, show after vote has been submitted and not show at all.

Not showing results is obvious but the “show after voted” won’t work either because it requires casting a vote first and this isn’t possible with paused/closed polls.

The “link on poll” method does show link to results even for closed polls but I just tested it on my end and it seems that while it shows up, it’s not working either. This is something that, I believe, our developers must look into as it might be a bug.

I’ve asked our Forminator dev team to check it and if it’s a bug they’ll fix it with one of future releases.

Additionally, in future we’re going to implement additional shortcodes in Forminator that will let you display any results on any page at any given time. But that’s yet to come and I don’t have an ETA.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

Hi Adam, thanks for answering. Indeed, the “link in survey” method does not work. The only way to see the results is by leaving the survey open. I will leave them open until you solve it, thanks.

    Hi @goyu73

Yes, the “link” option isn’t working currently but I just got an update form our developers – they confirmed they’ll implement improvement so with polls that are closed/paused this option will work and show results. If you will want to hide results then, you will just have to set the poll to don’t show them.

I don’t have an ETA though and I can’t tell yet with which update it will be included but I can confirm it will be there in future.

    Best regards,
    Adam
