admin dashboard scrambled

    last weekend my dashboard got scrambled. I had trouble logging in, then it kicked me out, or gave me a white screen. Now its all in one long column, and sorta looks like DOS mode, except for the GUI buttons.

    And the Post area, is only HTML mode, the tabs dont work to switch to Visual mode. I just upgraded to 2.9.1 about 2 weeks ago, and had no problems before this, but went a week with everything working, now this.

    Any clues?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?
