    Hi,

I have custom type of posts (taxonomies) and since the update I can’t edit the short and bottom descriptions of my posts. Sometimes it’s working randomly, some descriptions are editable but generally it’s not just working anymore. I have the yoast seo plugin on every of them.

When I inspect with the console I got this error when it’s not working. There is something blocking the rendering of the descriptions and I still don’t find the reason. I contacted my theme developper and he told me that it was coming from YoastSEO.

JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 3.3.2

If I click randomly on bold/italic/img and I go to previous page and reopen, the descriptions reappear.

    Thanks for your feedback

EDIT: I see a lot of posts about conflicts with UpDraft plus and this plugins is also on my website

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?

Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.
