I see on my primary site on the network, I get this message in the console

JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 3.3.2

but it doesn’t appear on any sub-sites and they are broken..

Only seems to have happened since the 5.6 upgrade today.

  • Strange, it should let me look into this.

    Hiya,

So what it sounds like is happening is that it’s not set to a downgraded option, if you are using the plugin version 1.2.0, you’ll have a new menu option on each individual site under Tools > jQuery Migrate, where you can set the version to be legacy, which will revert to the older jQuery version where needed.

It should work just fine on multisite, I must admit I’ve not done extensive testing on multisite, but the base code is setup to just do it’s thing on each individual site ??

Thanks Marius. 1.2 didn’t have the option you mentioned but the new 1.3 did and console now shows JQMigrate installed.. so all good.

@seedprod this didn’t fix our issue in 5.12.8.

@acwporg I released 5.12.9 which should fix it. If not contact [email protected]

Friends, I installed this plugin and I think I had some abnormalities on my website and I needed to urgently restore my backup and disable and remove this plugin, it was complicated my website had only the first two errors in the list of this print https://prnt.sc/wa16cg and with the plugin activated it went to 32 fatal errors, after restoring our site still shows this warning on the console about Migrate v3.3.2
    https://prnt.sc/wa18f1

I think I understand now. I read this news from WordFence that explains something about the future of WordPress in relation to the compatibility of recent versions of JQuery.
