Plugin doesn’t work on Chrome for Windows since WordPress 5.6 update

I had tried all this https://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/265-my-popup-wont-work-how-can-i-fix-it and nothing worked.

Tested in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge on Windows, all with errors.

Tested on iPhone and worked.

[EDIT] Disabling the plugin MetaSlider the popup works again

Hi guys,

If it’s to anyones help, i’ve found my issue regarding the Pop Up Maker.
It clashed with my Ditty News Ticker. Once i deactivated it, everything started working as before.

I suspect an update on the ticker or the pop up maker will make them coexist in the future without any issues regarding the Pop Up Maker.

It was a plugin conflict: SG Optimizer.

In case this is useful for anyone else, disabling the option “Remove Query Strings From Static Resources” under Frontend Optimization in SG Optimizer resolved the issue.

@landg – Interesting, I believe you likely must also have some type of static file cache like a CDN, or your browser file caches could do it as well. But it sounds like our CSS/JS regenerated, but because the query strings were stripped out the browser kept using a stale/old cached copy of those files.
