Stripe is charging customers for redeemed Gift Cards added to cart

    Hi,
    We are using WooCommerce, when a customer redeems a Giftup Gift card this shows correctly and removes the price of the gift card from the cart. However when the customer then checks out, they are charged again by Stripe for the gift card on their credit card.

    Any ideas as to why this is occurring – we tested the checkout earlier and did not have this issue and have now bought $1000’s worth of Gift Cards and can now not hand out to customers to redeem as they would get charged for these when redeeming?

    Hi Dave,

    Can I ask you to raise a support ticket via email at [email protected], copying this text and also adding your login email to Gift Up! so we can take a look into this ASAP.

    Also include as much supporting evidence and context as you can, including screenshots, dates, amounts etc… We’re pretty much blind at the moment.

    Feel free to reply to this thread, but I felt you may not want to publicise your email in a public ticket here ??
