  • It breaks the Caldera Anti-spam plugin too. Might have to roll back to 5.5.3 :/

Appears to break existing forms too. I ran a test thru my contact form and it failed to send.

We have the same problems with creating and editing forms.
Submitting existing forms seems to work.

    RESPONSE FROM CALDERA:

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. WordPress 5.6 has a major change in it and we are working on updating our code to match that change.

We have identified the fixes and are putting them in place now.

For the time being, would you please revert WordPress to a 5.5.x version and we will let you know as soon as we get our update out.

After upgrading to WP 5.6, I was able to get around Caldera Form admin issues by installing the plugin: ‘Enable jQuery Migrate Helper’

…and then switching between jQuery versions with Tools -> jQuery Migrate

    – ‘Default from WordPress’ (while not editing forms)
    – ‘Legacy 1.12.4-wp’ (while editing forms)

    Hey guys,

Do you have any other suggestion in case “Enable jQuery Migrate Helper” doesn’t do the trick? I still can’t edit my forms. For some restriction, I’m still using PHP 5.6 until I manage to update it.

In troubleshooting, besides ‘Enable jQuery Migrate Helper’, I found that deactivating the WordFence plugin would allow me to view Caldera Form entries. I never had trouble with copying and editing forms, just seeing the form entries.

In my case everything seems fine, the issue here is when I try to edit an entry: the window shows up shortened and seems it cannot load properly.
