• I really try to get my head around regarding the combining CSS feature. It seems this plugin does not really combine CSS files of plugins and themes on that website I want to use it with. This is the result when I enable the option, it seems to have no effect on many plugins and themes.

The worst overhead is the Avada theme / Fusion Builder, it has a ton of CSS files to load (but there are also CSS files from other plugins as well as JS files): https://1drv.ms/u/s!AuWULOinwuA8gclYtCkI-8CZGZ5RDA?e=llX5CN

How can I make it work, so it combines all those CSS files, effectively?

EDIT: I installed another plugin to minify JS and CSS and this worked very well. I’m a little bit disappointed by this plugin, to be honest.

  • Avada has performance settings, and you should disable all of them, except responsive images, so that WP Fastest Cache can take care of everything.

When you save the settings, make sure that “Delete old CSS and JS files?” is turned on at least once.

Important: when checking your site, if caching is disabled for logged in users, you must be logged out and you must use a page without any URL parameters. Cached pages show a comment at the very bottom.
