ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS after update to Version:3.8.6

  • If the server is already HTTPS (with HTTP to HTTPS redirection), in the domain configuration in the Cloudflare admin panel, section “SSL/TLS -> Overview”, turn the SSL/TLS Encryption mode to “Full (strict)”.

    Else Cloudflare will connect to the server using HTTP and cache the HTTP to HTTPS redirection from the server, while serving the redirection in HTTPS, which creates a nice loop.

    very easy error to correct, as usually the problem is the “interface” between keyboard and chair. recommend this “interface” to do a litle more research and learn more.
