    Hi there,

After consulting Elementor, I was informed that your plugin causes the social media icons in the website’s footer on the frontpage to squeeze.

If I deactivate W3, the social media icons in the footer displays correctly, with a bit of space between them.

I never experienced this issue before. Do you know how I can solve the issue?

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Kind regards,
    Victor

    Hello @huusmann

I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.
Can you please disable minify in Perfirmance>General settings, save all settings and purge the cache and see if the issue persists?
If the issue is gone, re-enable minify, and disable the settings in Performance>Minify one by one (HTML minify, JS minify, CSS minify) and see which one might be causing the issue.
Make sure to save all settings and purge the cache after each option is disabled.
    Thanks!

    Hi again,

Thanks for helping me out on this matter.

It looks like the HTML minify is causing the issue. I have disabled HTML minify for now. Any chance that you might fix this in your next update, so I can enable html minify again?

    Kind regards,
    Victor

    Hello @huusmann

    Thank you for the information.
Minify (default) should be your first choice for minifying your HTML because it results in the greatest size reduction of files.
However, in rare situations, it may result in errors due to incorrect markup in your content, plugins, or theme. In these cases, you might decide to use HTML Tidy minification rather than the default.
In Performance>General settings, Scroll down to the minify section and select HTML tidy an HTML minifier: save all settings and purge the cache.
    Thanks!

    Hi again,

    All right, I see.

Anyway, it seems like I can’t change to HTML Tidy minification. Is it a paid feature?

    Take a look: https://prnt.sc/vsxuvm

    Kind regards,
    Victor

    Hello @huusmann

    Thank you for the info.
No, it’s not a paid feature, HTML Tidy extension needs to be installed on your server as it’s required for HTML Tidy minifier support.
Please reach out to your hosting support for assistance and they’ll assist you in installing the required extension.
    Thanks!
